Commission a portrait or other custom artwork from your photo
This was a lot of fun to do once I knew what I was doing. I originally intended to do just the self-portrait but I hadn’t cut down the paper and had a lot of spare room to the right. So I combined it with a photo I took this week of the sunset. No reason for the graphite except that I love the combination with colored pencil.
I’ve always dreamt of a way to support myself through art, and have attempted at different points in my life to make it happen. Strangely enough, the pandemic brought this dream to fruition.What began as a way to fill my time and earn money for charity has blossomed into a small business. I now take commissions to draw or paint people and pet portraits. It is because of you that I am succeeding to see a lifelong dream fulfilled and making so many people smile in the process.
