Commission a portrait or other custom artwork from your photo
I like to use standard size paper because people can frame the pieces more easily then, but sometimes the photo does not fit well on the page as in the case below. I always leave a 1 inch border, but in this case, leaving an inch above, and below, left more than an inch of blank space on the sides. I used blue pastel chalk to help me eliminate so much of the white space. I may incorporate this into more of my portraits. I like how it looks and it adds a pop of color.
I’ve always dreamt of a way to support myself through art, and have attempted at different points in my life to make it happen. Strangely enough, the pandemic brought this dream to fruition.What began as a way to fill my time and earn money for charity has blossomed into a small business.
