Commission a portrait or other custom artwork from your photo
When I am finished with a portrait I put it in an app called Pic Stitch. When it is side-by-side with the photo I can see if I really am finished or if it needs more work.
In this case, I see I need to improve the values in the woman’s face. Her eyebrows and eyes need a little more work also. Darn it!
I’ve always dreamt of a way to support myself through art, and have attempted at different points in my life to make it happen. Strangely enough, the pandemic brought this dream to fruition.What began as a way to fill my time and earn money for charity has blossomed into a small business. I now take commissions to draw or paint people and pet portraits. It is because of you that I am succeeding to see a lifelong dream fulfilled and making so many people smile in the process.
