Commission a portrait or other custom artwork from your photo
I”ve been drawing in colored pencil for a year now with marked improvement. It’s a challenging medium, vastly different from oils or watercolor. You can achieve great detail, but its excruciatingly slow. I wish I had more patience.
Anyway here is an example from last April and this April.
I’ve always dreamt of a way to support myself through art, and have attempted at different points in my life to make it happen. Strangely enough, the pandemic brought this dream to fruition.What began as a way to fill my time and earn money for charity has blossomed into a small business. I now take commissions to draw or paint people and pet portraits. It is because of you that I am succeeding to see a lifelong dream fulfilled and making so many people smile in the process.
